Skin gradually loses its ability to renew itself. The production of hyaluronic acid and collagen decreases, and the result is skin that looks tired, dehydrated, and lacking tone — even when you care for it regularly. Biorevitalization is an injectable method that delivers active substances directly into the deeper layers of the skin, where creams and serums simply cannot reach.
At the Dental Vortex clinic in Zvezdara, we perform this treatment for the face and neck area. It is not about a dramatic change — it is about making your skin look like your skin again, only more rested and healthy.
What is biorevitalization
Biorevitalization is a minimally invasive injectable treatment based on introducing hyaluronic acid and active substances directly into the skin. Unlike hyaluronic fillers that add volume, biorevitalization improves the quality of the skin itself — its structure, hydration, and elasticity.

Hyaluronic acid is not a foreign substance. It occurs naturally in our body and has a unique ability to bind large amounts of water in tissue. The problem begins after the age of 25, when the body starts producing less of it. Biorevitalization replenishes this deficit where it is needed most — in the deeper layers of the skin, not just on the surface.
In addition to hyaluronic acid, modern biorevitalization preparations may also contain amino acids, peptides, and other active ingredients that further stimulate regeneration and skin renewal from within. The result is not a transformation — it is skin that looks healthier, smoother, and more rested.
Face biorevitalization
The face is most often the first area where signs of dehydration and aging become noticeable. The skin becomes thinner, loses its glow, and fine lines deepen — most commonly around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. Age is not always the cause. Stress, poor diet, smoking, and frequent sun exposure lead to the same changes.
Face biorevitalization is performed by introducing a hyaluronic acid-based preparation into the superficial and middle layers of the skin using fine needles. The treatment covers the entire face area, including sensitive zones such as under-eye circles and the area around the lips.
After the treatment, the facial skin becomes visibly more hydrated, the complexion evens out, and fine lines are softened. The skin does not look “done” — it looks refreshed and naturally healthy. Face biorevitalization is especially recommended before winter, when cold air additionally dries out the skin, as well as before a beach vacation, as preparation for increased UV exposure.
Neck biorevitalization
The neck is an area that most people neglect in their daily skincare routine, yet it is often the first to reveal age. The skin on the neck is thinner than facial skin, has fewer sebaceous glands, and loses elasticity more quickly. Horizontal lines, sagging, and dryness on the neck are signs that are difficult to conceal with creams.
Neck biorevitalization follows the same principle as the facial treatment — introducing hyaluronic acid and active substances directly into the skin — but adapted to the specific characteristics of this area. Neck skin is more sensitive and requires careful application technique.
Results are visible after the very first treatment. The skin becomes firmer, more hydrated, and more even in tone. Horizontal lines on the neck are softened, and the skin regains a natural tone that is lost with aging. We recommend that the neck treatment be done together with the face treatment, as this achieves a uniform and natural result across the entire upper zone.
Effects of biorevitalization
The effects of biorevitalization are not immediate in the sense of a dramatic change, but they are visible and measurable. After the first treatment, most patients notice that the skin looks fresher and more rested. The full effects develop gradually over a series of treatments.
Deep hydration
The skin becomes softer and fuller from within, not just on the surface.
Evening out skin tone
Hyperpigmentation (dark spots from sun or hormones) and unevenness in color are reduced.
Softening fine lines
Particularly targeted are lines caused by intense dehydration.
Improved elasticity
The skin becomes firmer, tighter, and regains its natural glow.
Minimizing pores
Skin texture in people with oily or acne-prone skin is visibly improved.
To achieve the optimal effect, a series of 3 to 4 treatments is recommended at intervals of 10 to 20 days. Afterward, results are maintained with one to two treatments per year.
What the treatment looks like at Dental Vortex
Preparation and consultation
Assessment of skin condition and discussion of expectations with the doctor. A preparation is selected that best suits your needs, depending on skin type and degree of dehydration.
Application of the preparation
The skin is cleansed and an anesthetic cream is applied. After the anesthetic takes effect, the doctor applies the preparation using fine needles. The procedure itself takes about 45 minutes.
Post-treatment care
A soothing mask and antibacterial gel are applied. For the next 6 hours, do not apply makeup, and for the first 24 hours avoid alcohol.
Does biorevitalization hurt and what is the recovery like
This is a question almost every patient asks before their first treatment. The procedure is performed with topical anesthesia in the form of a cream, so discomfort is kept to a minimum. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild stinging or pressure lasting only a few seconds per injection. Sensitive areas such as around the eyes may be slightly more uncomfortable, but the anesthetic helps significantly there as well.
Recovery practically does not exist in the classical sense. Immediately after the treatment, mild redness and small papules (small bumps at the injection sites) may appear, which disappear within 24 hours. Bruising is rare but possible, especially in people on blood-thinning therapy. The only thing you really need to remember: no makeup and no touching the skin for the next 6 hours.
Who is a candidate for biorevitalization
Biorevitalization is not reserved only for more mature skin. The treatment makes sense at various ages and for various needs.
Good candidates have:
- Dry and dehydrated skin, regardless of age
- The first appearance of fine lines and loss of glow
- Uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation
- Skin damaged by sun, smoking, or stress
- Sagging neck skin that is losing elasticity
- Enlarged pores and acne scars
Not recommended if:
- You have acute infections accompanied by fever
- You have herpes in an active phase
- You have skin conditions at the treatment site
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have autoimmune diseases or oncological diagnoses
- You are allergic to hyaluronic acid
As a preventive measure, the treatment is recommended from the age of 25. For rejuvenation and restoration of tone, it is most commonly started from the age of 30 onward.
Biorevitalization or PRP
Patients often ask this question before deciding on a treatment. Both methods have the same goal — skin renewal and rejuvenation — but they work in different ways.
Biorevitalization is based on introducing hyaluronic acid and active substances from the outside. The effect is predictable, and results are visible quickly — already after the first treatment.
PRP (vampire treatment) uses the patient’s own blood enriched with growth factors. It stimulates natural regenerative processes, but results come gradually.
Which method is better? Biorevitalization is the better choice when the priority is quick hydration, evening out skin tone, and softening fine lines. PRP delivers better results for deeper changes, acne scars, and long-term biological regeneration. These two methods can also be combined, and at a consultation we will recommend the best approach for you.

Frequently asked questions about biorevitalization
When is the right time to schedule an appointment
If you have noticed that your skin looks tired, dry, or lacking glow, that is already a sufficient reason to consider biorevitalization. You do not have to wait for wrinkles to deepen or for the skin to visibly lose elasticity. This treatment delivers the best results precisely when started early.
At the Dental Vortex clinic in Zvezdara, we perform biorevitalization as part of a broader range of aesthetic treatments, alongside our primary dental practice. This means you are coming to a medical setting with experienced doctors, where the safety of the procedure is just as important as the aesthetic result.
The first step is always a consultation. During the conversation, we assess the condition of your skin, explain what you can expect, and propose a treatment plan suited to your needs — without any obligation or pressure.
