Mesotherapy is performed with fine needles, and before the procedure an anesthetic cream is applied that significantly reduces the sensation of the needle. Sensitivity varies from person to person and from area to area, with the zone around the eyes being somewhat more sensitive than the rest of the face.
Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be mildly red, tight, or sensitive to the touch. These are normal reactions that indicate the skin has received the treatment and that regeneration has been initiated. These reactions typically subside within one day.
