We also perform All-on-4 or All-on-6 under sedation if a patient feels anxious, sick, or just wants to be relaxed. While inhaling a nitrous oxide gas, the patient is fully aware but in a deep state of relaxation. It is a completely safe and effective form of sedation. 10 minutes after the surgery, the gas leaves the body and the patient can drive a car.
Performing the concept
All-on-4 and All-on-6 means anchoring a dental prosthesis to the jawbone using 4 or 6 implants. It cannot be removed and gives patients a lot of comfort. Patients choose the colour of their teeth according to their wishes, as well as the material (acrylic teeth or metal-free). After the surgical implantation, patients need to regularly and properly maintain oral hygiene. We are more than ready to educate our patients on how to do this and motivate them during check-ups.
The implant installation process takes about 15 minutes per implant. After the surgical part, if there is adequate primary stability of the implant, digital impressions are taken on the implants for temporary prosthetics. Thanks to modern protocols, digital impression,there are no impression materials and trays, which shortens the procedure and eliminates any inconveniences. For temporary fixed prosthetics, it is necessary to wait 24-48 hours until it is handed over. Sutures are removed after 7-10 days or we can use self-absorbable sutures for the patients who do not live in Serbia.
After 4 months from the installation, the implants can be loaded with permanent fixed prosthetics, we need about 10 days for its production. During this time, the patient comes for rehearsal sessions and after that the prosthetics is permanently installed.
